LETELmetrics has been very busy this summer! In fact, we can’t believe it’s already September. As the seasons are rapidly changing, we realized it was time to give you all an update on what LETELmetrics has been up to. Jeff Hagerman provided us with a rundown of what’s been going on.

Of course, we’ve been flying a lot of LIDAR projects and some aerial photography/videography projects all around Georgia. We’ve also been to Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana (as well as Georgia) flying construction sites. And we’ve been to Oregon, New Mexico, Texas, North Carolina, and Ohio (as well as, surprise, Georgia) to fly and collect data at solar sites. It’s been exhausting, but it’s also been rewarding as we’ve got a lot of fun stuff coming up in the near future as well!

In fact, our amazing photographer Jeff has been so focused on the jobs that he doesn’t usually even think to take photos along the way (“I’ve been traveling solo a lot!” he says), but he’ll try to be better at doing that so we can share more photos with you all.

As far as company updates go: Reese Kinney moved on to a new career for another company, so Dakota Austin has taken a larger role in flying our eBee drones and he’s been doing great with that. We also have a new employee named Nick King. He’s already taken and passed his pilot’s license, so he’s in training and we’ll have another new pilot soon.

We also just had a week of refresher training classes, so we’ve been tightening up our processes and we’re getting better every day.

Whew! Told you guys that was a lot to update. Stay in touch with LETELmetrics on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram to continue to follow our cross-country adventures and get a look at the awesome vistas and views we encounter at work every day.
